Have ordered a Karoq from Liverpool dealership and have been informed the factory is shutdown whilst they sort out how to conform to the latest EU/Worldwide emission regulations. Unlikely to see the car before November.

Had a look at other VW sites and Porsche are in the same boat.

I gained the impression from my dealer that this was the normal annual shutdown when the lines are set up for the next model year.  It would probably be more complicated this year because of the new emissions regulations.  Is this shutdown earlier this year?  I must admit to not being aware of it before.

Shutdown about now and usually 2 weeks but can 3.

Every year they have a shutdown they service machines retool calibrate add new machines plus my19 updates are added
