Need advice on selling

Featured Replies

Hi, let me start off by saying I love my Skoda and always been a bit of a Skoda fan which is why I’m gonna live to regret doing this.

i have a 2013 (August 2013) Skoda Monte Carlo triple black 1.2 tsi (105ps) version.

It is up for renewal next year (March/April) and Skoda want £3,300 balloon payment and the car is meant to have 50k on the clock but due to my job and where I drive I’ve only got 24k on the clock at the mo and will only have probably 28k when I come

to buy it off Skoda.

The extras the car has is:-

OEM sat nav

OEM heated seats

parking sensors

”kill all wipers” wiper delete

A/C

spare wheel with the OEM kit

and all of the other standard stuff that come with the car

I just have no idea how to sell a car cause I’ve never done it? I’m after roughly 4k it comes with all the paperwork and full Skoda service history and will have roughly 6 months MOT.

do I sell locally to a garage or post on Facebook sites or do I try the eBay route?

Any advice is welcome

'Simply Clever' might be BRISKODA Forum 'Cars for sale' adverts. Just costs a few quid and is quite good for getting cars sold.

Auto trader is also a good option. Loot used to be, for cheapie but might not attract the over £3K brigade. Local papers can sometimes be handy as well, its local. People won't have too much difficulty getting to and from you to view/purchase. As Offski mentioned, Briskoda might be good. You do need a certain level of paid membership which I think can be limited to a month if you are selling a one off item, or annually.

Billy I’ve messaged you on Facebook, I think I have your old Fabia could you message me back please?

Thanks
