BATTERY DROPPED WITH NO CAR LOCK..

Featured Replies

Hi,

After reaching destination to the family's seaside house, and the car was left over with engine off in Saturday 11:00 am and got in to leave today in the morning 7:00 am.

Among these hours it was not touched the car.

So all these 44 hours the car was left in the backyard with not having being locked and the key was on the switch without pulling it out at all  (just powered off engine).

Today in morning engine would not turn at all   but the dash lights and maxidot would show up  (bit less dimmy the maxidot..)

When opened switch to turn the engine, lots of beeps were listening  (for low battery warnings)  and could hear in 2 tones the beep warnings.

Only way was to Jump started and it took ok.

What i pressume is that the Bluetooth module  (FISCON)  was in stand by status  (i'm sure it would connect to my mobile as the distance when mobile was arround was more or less 10mts and with no obstacles between - eventually these 2 days mobile did not ring at all , otherwise i would understood it)  and as the key was not pulled, it does keep on being (under)working /stand by.

Only if key is pulled from switch then the power is shut off completely also from the Bluetooth controller.

Needless to say Columbus was off but FISCON still gets its power though.

No any lights were running, but also it is known that after 10 mins the system is shuting all lightnings for battery protection.

Does the above seem to hear logical for the battery's drop?

Battery is 3 years old and have never faced issues  (winters-summers)  even if many other times the car had remained stil and locked from Fridays afternoons till Mondays morning when driving it to the work without using at all among the weekend days..

What suggest?

Thx!
