Skoda 'economy' OEM replacment parts

Featured Replies

I am currently in Italy visiting my wife's family and was looking into doing a service and also replacing the front disc brake pads at the local Skoda dealer as it cheaper than doing in London. They told me they can replace the break pads with Skoda OEM 'economy' parts, which are slightly cheaper than the factory ones is had but 'just as good'.

Has anyone come across this before and if so are these 'economy' parts really 'just as good'?

Yep, standard practice for older VAG vehicles is that they benefit from the "Economy" range of renewable parts. Nothing wrong with that at all.
