Abs mod code has been wiped

Featured Replies

Hi everyone I'm just wondering if anyone has or can get me the abs mod code. Someone have deleted it by mistake.im think they probably have same code if they are same model

My car is

Skoda Octavia elegance tdi cr

Reg OY12VVU

Thank you

The code will be unique to your car as it incorporates parts of your vin.

A full autoscan from vcds would be a good start.

Nobody will be able to make a new lcode for your abs from that....

Either take it to a dealer or post a full autoscan from vcds. We need to see what your car is made from including its vin to have any chance of guessing a possible lcode!

I've booked it at Skoda on the 26 but I'm going to ask more on Monday

Don't want to do it at Skoda though 2 expensive

From Skoda it should be 30 or 60 minutes labour assuming there are no other faults.

As I've mentioned already, without a vcds autoscan or similar there is little we can do to suggest the correct coding.

The code includes not only the configuration of the car but also parts of the VIN so is specific to YOUR car.

A complete autoscan will include the vin of the car so it should be possible to reverse engineer the correct coding from said autoscan if provided.

Thank you for your advice. There is no good mechanic this day's. I've changed the abs mod with a used one  and all the lights gone without resetting apart from engine light. Now i have to figure out why that is on. Feel a bit better than last 3/4 days
