2009 Octavia TDI build specs for individual car

Featured Replies

Hi is there anyone out there who can give me the build sheet/spec list on my car? As I've been trying to get a remote key for the car and the auto locksmith is saying it can't have one?

Thanks Paul

if you look in the boot under the carpet or in the service book then there should be a sticker with the build details (loads of 3 digit codes)  on it. You can put the codes into this site and get what they all mean

Hi thanks, will it tell me if the car has remote central locking?

Thanks again

it will give you the exact specification of your car so yes I would have thought so.

Ok thanks for your help I'll let you know!

Thanks Paul

The codes in the boot are only a subset of the entire list.

A dealer should be able to give you a full list or you can get it yourself from http://erwin.skoda-auto.cz for a small fee (€7 + tax for an hour).

Finally, if you can get a VCDS autoscan that'll confirm what modules the car has. This will probably confirm if it's current module supports remote central locking or if it'll need a module replacing.
