did search, but could not find anything on this, so started new, moderator pls feel frre to move if required.

 

I am going to do the timing chain on my 2000 Fabia 1.4 mpi. Notged remarks ref marking on wheels, kit purchased and on the way.

I have been looking for a new sump gasket online, but only results I get are for sealant / instant gasket; Can anyone advise if there is a gasket please?

 

It is sealant. There is no gasket.

 

It's a good idea to replace the timing cover oil seal whilst you have the cover off as it's a lot easier than when it's on the car. I had to replace mine as it started to leak. Part number 047103085
