How do the real-time sensors work?
 
Mine is ok 8 or 9 times out of ten but 1 or 2 times it reads VERY low.
It lasts usually 1 day then back to normal.
 
Obviously all conditions are the same.

I think they just work off injector durations. If yours is a diesel, maybe the very low readings correlate with active regens of the DPF happening during those journeys?

Thanks, didn't know about that though I do try and keep the DPF as clean as I can.
