Hi my rear wash wiper motor nozzle has snapped off do I need to replace the whole motor unit complete or can this part of the motor nozzle be replaced?

Checked with skoda can get the elbow nozzle connector for £2.50

I have had same problem on a 2006 Octavia hatchback. My local mechanic said I need new motor. Did your new nozzle connector work. would appreciate if yu could give e the part number from Skoda or a pic!

The same but skoda at Fareham told me I need the whole motor I find this hard to believe so now I’ve gone out and got one for the sake of I bit of broken plastic, skoda like other manufacturers are all out to make money

what year /variant is your octy? does your part no start with 1J5955711C?

 

Im think of getting one from a dismantler, apprx £40

I repaired one with chemical metal first for the physical bond and a bit of plastic welding using a sacrificial tie wrap for extra plastic and a soldering iron to melt it all together. If it's already broken give it a go, you have nothing to lose?

It's still working after a month so seems fine. Doesn't leak either.
