Hi guys! Newbie from Scotland on the lookout for a fabia but finding one that’s not been abused is proving difficult.

A 'wanted advert' in Briskoda is a good idea.

 

It is an issue finding good cars that have not been produced for over a decade and that people might keep good ones and abused ones change hands often.

There are good ones about and sometimes Briskoda members selling them so good luck.

 

You might need to travel to get a good one, but they are around in Scotland. Just finding in your budget can sometimes be the issue.

Got £1500 that achievable?

Skodaboy1983 gave good advice in your other post and i asked the mods to move it to the Fabia Mk1 section so it would get a response.

I think £1,500 might get a decent one and if i hear of one i will give you a shout.  

Loads of Mk1 vRS in great condition up in Bridie Land but they are keepers obviously, but you never know one might be for sale.

Thinking of going to Ireland to get one

Hope you find a suitable one.  I presume you mean going over to Northern Ireland as it wouldn't be the best time to be buying here with current exchange rates.
