So thinking of retrofiting the seat back trays to the front seats of my scout.

 

Is this even possible and if so has anyone done this mod? 

Check out the Karoq forum, they are standard on all specs of Karoq, and as such there are a few people who have wanted to remove them.

 

Unfortunately I think the mounting points would require cutting the seat backs, not something for the faint hearted!

 

Ouch! Not sure I'm prepared to do that for the sake of a few trays lol

to the back of the front passenger seat in my Octy Scout. 

 

I bought mine in Halfords, but their website is gash, so may be worth a punt just goung into one of their stores and having a look-see. I also have a more robust metal folding table which I use on longer roadtrips. 

 

I tried to sit in the rear seat of a Karoq fitted with the seat back trays and couldn't fit my legs behind the seat, with the front seat set up as me as the driver, as the tray is so bulky. 

 

 

We'll having read the koroq posts on the tables I'm now in two minds about them. I know that the leg space in the kodiaq is better so I'm not so worried about the space issues but I am concerned about how flimsy the tables are.
