Hi.
Im trying to save some money of my girlfriend so i need to remove and then install a starter motor of a 77kd 1.9td engine, manual box.
 

Has anybody done it before and is it possible to do it at home ?
Do you have access from the top, or do i have to lift the car ? (Of which option im lacking)
Could somebody make a quick list for me please, what would be:
1) Remove this

2) Remove that

3) Then you can get to this and so on

 

Me and my girl will be thankful

How about a haynes manual for a b5 passat - more or less the same oily bits
