Hiya!

 

I'm Naoise Gaffney, called "Gaff", from Dublin in Ireland though grown up in Stockholm in Sweden. I've my first privately owned Skoda, a second-hand Yeti from 2016. My passionate love-affair with Skoda began 9 years ago when I had the immense pleasure of my first ever Skoda Superb 1.9 TDI Elegance Rosso Brunello (company car) that I drove from Dublin to Stockholm and back again. The most comfortable car I've ever had the pleasure of driving (way more comfortable than the Volvo V70, Audi S6, and numerous rentals). My second company car in Ireland was a Skoda Superb 2.0 TDI 4x4 Elegance in a lovely petrol blue. Then I was told I could no longer have a Skoda as it wasn't company policy. Last company car was an Audi A6 (2.0 TDI 190 HP) which was a good car, though no Skoda. :-)

 

I'm so over the moon at being back behind the steering wheel of a Skoda, and a Yeti at that. It's a pleasure to drive, and it's a bit of a dream come true since I wanted one as a company car though my choice was vetoed at the time...

 

Other interests are food, both to eat and cook, whisk(e)y, gin, wine, and decent ales.
