2014 Monte side lights

Featured Replies

I see countless threads on here about side lights but can't find any that sound like what I'm experiencing..

I just fitted a new headlight switch (Chinese one with auto sensor) and everything seemed to be working fine, but all of a sudden selecting side lights they don't come on. Going to main beam everything comes on including the sidelights, which I'm sure didn't happen before!

So confused. Im wondering if it's a fuse or the switch I've bought is dodgy. I'm thinking the switch as the internal lights don't come on at the sidelights option either..

Any insight appreciated!!

Fuse 17 iirc

You're right! Thank you! Is it worth putting same fuse in or is it safe putting a higher amp one?

I put in a higher one, original was a 5amp fitted a 7.5 and never had an issue since. Took me the best part of a day to work it out :D

I'll do the same then, original is a 5amp.

It doesn't make sense that the switch fuse has gone yet still works?!

Me and my Monte thank you sir
