Hi guys

My name is Cristian, from Chile, South America.

Really, I don't know why I ended up buying a Skoda because I was mainly a VW guy. I had a 94 vento GL, so called Jetta mk3, A 2004 Bora 2.slow, a 1992 golf gti mk2 8v, and a second 1992 golf gti mk2 8v.

I started to make friends with some of the local skoda groups, and suddenly a vw in all the skoda meetings was a little odd.

Suddenly, a friend of mine, couldn't afford to keep his YETI, I ended up purchasing a 2016 Yeti 1.2 dsg elegance spec, LOVELY, I still miss that car. Had the clutch replaced under warranty, thats something that could be a dealbreaker with the brand. Not for me. Had it till recently when somebody offer me to swap my beloved yeti for my current car, MY2017 Skoda Rapid Spaceback 1.4 TSI, Style spec.

LOVING that car, with the exception for the tires. Low profile tires and ****ty roads doesn't get along well. I will keep the 17's because I love how it looks in the car. Maybe replacing the Potenzas 050A, because every friend that had that tire ended up replacing it after some minimal pot hole damage.

In the meantime also got my hands on a MY2012 Fabia, with the 1.6 105 cfna engine. Great daily. Sold it to a friend of mine.

THATS pretty much it. Thanks for the space and the valuable info that this forum provides!

My Rapid.

The only mod that I made was putting some racechip pro2 to see if could make it a little bit faster. More to come!
