Drive versus economy mode

Recommended Posts

I have read with the interest the debate about the advantages of high octane petrol and whether there are any. Tried 99 RON for several tank fulls now and have only noticed a subtle if any kind of difference. Today, however, went back to drive from economy mode after several months. Some people say that economy mode in the 280 is heresy but for an old f..t like me it was fine. The car now appears to have an extra 100bhp , scores of extra " torques" and I am 40 years younger suddenly!!!

So basically you're saying economy mode is essential to not dull the senses and get bored of the 280 yes? :>

I am saying that life is much more exciting with drive mode( and probably too stressful in sport!!!!)
