Hi, on my SE the rear view mirror is just underneath the black mesh thing at the top of the windscreen (See photo)

 

Now I have just had a crack appear on my windscreen due to stone damage, so looking to replace the windscreen but I think the position of the mirror is higher up on the elegance models (in the black mesh) as it's part of the rain sensor. Is this true as I would really like to have the mirror higher up as I have the drivers seat at it's highest position and this sometime the mirror blocks my view of the left side of the road as the mirror is at my eye level.

I'm not sure if the RLS version is mounted higher but if you do fit the other windscreen, you'll also need a new rear view mirror as the mounting is different.

The rain and light sensor is fitted with the mirror and the mirror is a lot higher in my Yeti. Don't see why you couldn't have the mirror higher.

when my screen was replaced the new one arrived with the mounting block bonded in place on the screen!
