Judder when braking & accelerating on 2012 Octavia Petrol DSG VRS

Featured Replies

I've had 4 wheel alignment and wheel balancing done at a place I know does them spot on.

Brakes and pads were changed June 2017 all round.

When braking from 70mph to 40mph there is a judder which seems like warped disks... however even when accelerating from 60 to 70mph it also judders.

What could be the problem here? As I even had balancing done again yesterday however problem still remains.

It only passed an MOT a few months ago too.

Rear Goodyear tyres are perishing (only 2 years old) but I don't think this would cause the steering wheel to vibrate right on brake and acceleration?

As it's an automatic there is a slight judder if you come off the brake and don't accelerate.. do you think it could be something like a dog bone mount but not sure if a DSG has this.
