Looking for a USB Connector 5Q0035726 E

Featured Replies

My Skoda Fabia 3 has a USB fault, it's not connecting the phone to Android Auto, any USB flash drives aren't recognised and the usb unit gets very hot.

I've managed to prise it out of the plastic fascia and taken a look inside all the electrics etc but I'm not qualified to tell it's kaput or not.

Does anyone know where I can get a new USB with the serial number 5Q0035726 E please?

Many Thanks

Gerz

I would suggest a Skoda or a VAG dealer as it is likely to be VAG specific.

Yes, I've just called three Skoda garages in Cardiff, Newport and Bristol, all quoted £36.42

I'll make sure I look after the new one!

Thanks

Is it not still on warranty?

Unfortunately not. I managed to get one from my local Skoda dealer an hour ago and fitted myself, worked like a treat!

That's frustrating. Glad it's fixed though!

Always the same! 3 year warranty and it fails on the 4th year! :@

Thanks very much for the replies, I normally shy away from repairing myself but this was dead simple to do.

Fingers crossed no more issues with the thing!
