Featured Replies

Hello all I am look for a driver side wing mirror which is anti dazzle and heated I have spoken to main dealer and they have quoted £348 just for the glass anybody know where I can get one any cheaper thanks

Welcome.

Are none showing on Ebay?

Salvage / Breaker sellers are going to be the best bet are they not?

There is plenty of heated ones but none with anti dazzle as well

The glass is just shy of £200 if you can find it.

Is this the one with a slight blue tint?

No it auto dims when when lights hit the rear veiw mirror and I can’t believe I can’t find one on eBay I’ve looked everywhere

Is it really a great loss if you replace with a not 'Anti Dazzle one'.

Personally never noticed anyone ever dazzle me in the drivers or passenger side mirror when following or overtaking.

Plenty dazzle from behind, tailgate etc, but i wash their windscreen and have their Auto Wipers working....

No longer Brake Test them, that is dangerous....

I phoned main dealer and was quoted £342.40 just for the glass and I can’t justify paying that for a wing mirror glass I could buy a complete wing mirror unit for that pice and have change

My wing mirrors are anti dazzle. the glass as a boarder all the way around, all around the edge and about 15 mm in depth. I think they word in conjunction with the rear view mirror.  They do make a big difference if a car with very bright headlights is following you

Free Fix.

Put your Rear Fog lights on and then maybe they will pull back. or let them pass.

(or brake test them after washing their windscreen and headlights.)

Everyone must live in a parallel universe where they look at cars behind in the drivers mirror rather than the rear view mirror,

or have their rear glass so tinted they can not see out the back window / rear view mirror.
