vRS

Featured Replies

When is it usually the case that a car goes on sale for Skoda after presenting in the autoshow? The vRS will be unveiled in Paris in October so when will on sale? I expect the waiting list will be very long.

Usual does not apply this launch, because WLTP is involved, then what happens in the UK next March will have an affect on the pricing of New vehicles in the UK.

I would expect usually that order books would open soon after the reveal. How soon is the question.

Ask these people, they will be the importers, if they will not or can not say then who can. Certainly not Auto Express or Car Wow.

No WLTP in this case as it will have the 240BHP biTurbo diesel already in use in the PAssat/tiguan etc.

Not unless built before the 1st June 2018 it will not be.  It will have to have the WLTP Approval or no First Registration now.

So as the Model it is, with the standard or optional extras, wheels etc.

http://volkswagen.co.uk/owners/wltp     Best speak to Skoda Customer Services and not just listen to muppets like me or even Skoda Sales staff.

Week ago official dealer said they have all ordering codes in system with options, but refused to give me any detailed information.

Said no prices yet, delivery time March though.

Going for one as well. If not finding any good offer for Tiguan Allspace.

Curious to see where the pricing for this lands and when it can be ordered, my guess is on or around £40 (perhaps more) which puts it into the high car tax band. I spoke to a dealer last week who said you could place an order for a Karoq Sportline or Scout now, which supprised me but not eh VRs. he also didn't tell me how much they were so perhaps just getting a deposit is the name of the game.

If I were a betting man, I'd suggest £39,995 - meaning that anyone adding any extras (potentially even metallic paint if it doesn't come as standard) will go straight over the £40k - but at least then Skoda can say they still don't sell anything over £40k list.

In here, Tiguan Allspace Highline 240 costs 45 300 euros. Which is 40 600 quit.

I doubt vRS will reach that mark. Probably 2 - 4000 euros less, depending on whistles.

Euro to Pound exchange is not so good with the GB Pound, and then the UK might have tariffs coming next year that will make the pricing in the UK of new cars interesting from next April.

I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place as my lease superb goes back mid march so need to order as soon as possible so I'm not without a car, but I really want to see the vrs (and its price) before I commit to a sportline. I'm hoping the sportline price may drop slightly.

Paris motorshow after a month, don`t think we can get any detailed information before that.

After the new models arrive with the Engine Managements / Mapping that VW Group have had written by Bosch or whoever to get the WLTP Approval it might be worth waiting a bit before tuning any further.

They're going to be in NZ in March so I presume earlier to mainland Europe.

The UK is offshore from Mainland Europe so we need to see how deliveries go, they will be coming in by sea from Mainland Europe,

maybe easily up to late March.

just need to know the prices of them, and the price of models that are currently being built.
