Front brake kit 320 mm for Octavia 2/3/3FL

Featured Replies

I will start with pointing out the benefits from such kit:

Higher braking torque compared to the standard 288 mm combination. Means that the front tires will be able to apply higher braking force and decelerating the vehicle harder if the tires have enough grip.

Higher thermal capacity. Due to the thicker disk the setup can absorb more heat compared to the 288 mm disks. Additionally it will cool down faster due to the bigger diameter.

Very important point – they fit under the genuine 16 inch wheels of Octavia 3 (tested with both Ilias and Minoris rims).

The look genuine when mounted, but if you want them painted in different color can look sportier. I personally like the appearance of this caliper much better than the one mounted originally. Additionally I think that they are more robust although I don’t have objective measure for this.

I have driven them on my O3, when i sold it the guy who bought it was impressed and mentioned that brakes considerably better than the others he tried.

Ideally would prefer to sell it as a kit containing the following:

Calipers

Brake pads ATE and Zimmerman disks (driven no more than 1500 km mainly highway) , i would consider them almost new.

Aluminum rings for centering the disks.

You would need to change the brake lines depending on which generation you mount them. For O3 i will provide with exact measures.

Asking price is 195 quid + delivery (approx 35 quid) .

Posting photos of the actual calipers and how another sets looks mounted on a Scout and O3
