2008 Scout PD BMM oil temp display

Featured Replies

Morning all

I have a 2008 Skoda Scout with a 2.0 PD BMM engine. The das has MFD. The MFD provides the following information

Avg fuel consumption

real time fuel consumption

Range based on fuel in tank

avg speed

But what I would like is a display to indicate the oil temperature. Is it possible to get this?, Is it a standard display? Is there a hidden menu to allow for the display of the oil temp?

Regards

I don't believe oil temp is available on prefl cars, only came in with the face lift.

It's possible by fitting a fiscon Bluetooth kit.

It adds an extra menu to the mfd giving water and oil temp, exact speed, rpm, boost, battery voltage and remaining litres of fuel left in the tank.

Thanks for the heads up but I was out of the office. I have purchased a it thermometer which I intend to use on the oil heat exchanger. I am experimenting with reducing air flow to the engine over winter months in an attempt to speed up the warming of the car (demist defrost windows)

Is the oil heat exchanger on the PD BMM engine watercooled?
