Ok Google

Featured Replies

I have my phone connected to my car via Bluetooth rSAP. This connection also allows data for the Skoda Connect.

My phone is set to recognise 'Ok Google' when I say it and this works fine when its not connected to the car. However how do you activate it when it's connected to car?

If I say 'OK Google' in the car I see that it recognises the command but it does not respond when I ask it a question.

Has anyone been able to get this to work?

Doesn't it need to be connected via a cable to enable Android Auto?

I'm not trying to use Android Auto. I just want to be able to use the 'Ok Google' function on my phone.

On my last car when my phone was connected via Bluetooth, you held down the phone button on the steering wheel and this activated the 'Ok Google' function.

However holding down the phone button or the voice command button doesn't seem to work.

What was your last car and how was it connected to Google?

If you do connect via a cable then does it work?

Just trying to eliminate certain possibilities

I'd make sure these settings are on:
