Was vacuuming my car and found this piece of plastic stored in one of the compartments of the boot. I guess the previous owner put it there. I’ve only had the car since Wednesday evening and have only just got round to vacuuming and putting a jar of Clobberizer in; not that it really needs it.

What is it and is it easy to put back where it belongs?

Looks like a wiper adapter clip

Rear wiper blade adapter, looks like it’s the one that the Fabia doesn’t need so it can probably be binned. 

Looks a little better quality then a wiper blade clip, in my opinion although that did seem a likely answer. I'd keep it a bit until I am sure.
