Window steaming up

Featured Replies

Anyones car experiencing a drivers side door window steaming up, aircon is on all the time and no other windows are effected.

Is the vent on the end of the dash closest to the steamy window open and aimed as far up and to the right as possible?

You must just be a very warm person. I have a mate who's head can steam up the side glass next to him, even when it's warm!

A bit of a hot head then!  :tongueout:

Check that drivers door is not filling up with H2o.

Only time i have ever had steamy front windows is winter time with Skoda / VW's and the passengers door has not been opened to let the tidal wave escape.

Not had the same issue in my SEL and I drive around with the aircon on 22 degree C all the time, have you got it on re-circulate as this can reduce the air quality and cause misting up of the windows?

Yes vent fully open and it's been pointed in various positions. Also, it steams up no matter who's driving.

I'll keep an eye on it and if necessary a trip to the stealers will be in order.

Have you got the air care style filter setting on. I had the same issue but it stopped after I turned that setting back off
