Screen warnings

Featured Replies

G'day,

Another question for the hive mind.

On my Mk1 Superb, when i turn the engine on I get 2 warning messages on the LCD screen. One says check brake discs but they were all replaced 4k miles ago so I presume it's just a faulty or Ill fitted sensor. I'll take the wheels off at some point and check.

The second one says lights failure. All the lights are working, internal and external. I changed a side light that was a bit dull thinking it could be that but it still the message comes up. Any ideas?

@Toxicvrs is this something you could help me with?

Id say number one is a pad wear sensor out, either replace relative pad or even just loop the pad end wiring to prove this at fault. Bulb wise first thing id do is scan with vcds / professional grade code reader, check which light is at fault. Replace bulb and clean and check connections then go from there is best i can suggest.
