MS access report question

Featured Replies

I've got an ms access report where the detail part changes size depending on the height of a sub report in it. I have got a couple of controls in there with a background colour that i'd dynamically like to make the same height as the detail.

how do i do this?

Me!control.height = me.section(acDetail).height doesnt work in the on format or on print events

Could you move the controls to the sub-report ? Just a thought - I've not tried to do this myself.

Unfortunately i cant :(, its a report designed to match an excel spreadsheet layout (but our needs have outgrown excels capabilities).

Basically we have a list of organisations which have running projects, if there is more than one project per org, i've set it so it hides the organisation field on the report and then it displays a grey box. I then need this grey box to fill the entire height of the detail section - in the same place as the organisation field should be
