Presumably it's power supply is 5v DC or USB or did you have to use some other method to power it ?

its powered by 12 volt, thats why I could use an empty fuse slot. So it was pretty easy to install

I have a 245 and manage to get my phone to connect automatically. Initially I used an app called Auto Hotspot or similar. Then when my phone upgraded to Android 7 it didn't auto connect. The solution was to download a Macro app which allows you to add functions in order to connect via Bluetooth etc.

Works almost all of the time to create a HotSpot using my phones data allowance.

Love it that it nearly always tells me about "Queuing traffic ahead" seconds before I hit the jams. Certainly enhances the SatNav.

You have to create a Skoda Connect account (I think I had to).

App is MacroDroid for info.

Skoda instructions are poor.

I can provide screenshots to help....
