Hi all. I am now back to being a Skoda owner (next week). I had my old X reg Octavia for several years until the drive shaft snapped (while my wife was driving!) and it went to Skoda car heaven. Was a great car for many years too.

 

I have been driving a Passat SEL (2006) DSG 2l Diesel since then and had that for 12 years but decided to trade it in for an almost new Octavia 1.4 TSI DSG SEL model which I am picking up next week.

 

So back to being a broskodian after a long time away!

 

No doubt I will have questions after I pick it up but the dealer has been decent - I will need to catch up a bit on the new tech (infortainment system etc) but it is very simialr to my old Passat in most other ways and also in terms of trim and specification...I'll miss the heated seats though!
