What size crows foot for inner tie rod?

Anyone know what size crows foot I need to remove inner tie rod on a 2002 skoda Octavia mk 1 ?

OMG JESUS someone must know the size... Come on... I`m asking because I search on the internet and it seems it varies between VAG cars, some say 34mm , then someone else says 36mm....

They dont have to be that tight.

I changed both sides a couple of months ago, there is plenty of room as well.

 

I used a huge open ended spanner which was actually slightly to big so I used a 2p coin to take the 2mm difference up

As long as you put the rack on full lock to push the one you are undoing as far out to the body as possible you'll have no issues

TBH, I doubt you need any. My mechanic does these all the time and I've never seen a set of crows feet in his tool collection. Just a good set of spanners and a decent jack, really.

@sammyhale30 @Ttaskmaster - Well, I don't know about the Octy as such. but the last time I needed to change a track rod, there were flats on it for an open-ended spanner.

Just buy your new ones and measure it
