Hello folks

 

Trying to install a pair of led day time running light on the fabia.

 

I had the harness to let the drl become dimmer if the headlight is on. It's DRL connect to the harness and harness to the car battery ( + -) and some lights positive .

 

Also been told I can also wire the light connecting  to the headlight switch port so save the harness and make the drl more friendly as it's goes off if headlights turn on.

 

My question is which solution is better and more safety If any part goes wrong?
