Hi there!  After wanting to get a Skoda for some years we’ve finally bitten the bullet when our family workhorse Sharan got to the point that it just won’t get through another MOT.  We’re really sad about this, and being VAG fans full stop we looked at all marques when looking to replace her.  It had to be fairly sizeable as we have 3 kids and two labradors yet as a second car doesn’t need to be as big.  I’m disabled so we also needed an estate to fit my wheelchair.

 

After a few months searching, this morning we picked up our new (to us) Octavia 1.4 TSI and already adore her.  She’s nippier than you would expect a 1.4 to be, she’s a DSG to make it easier for me to drive.  Feels so planted on the roads and so comfortable over uneven road surfaces.

 

I like to join owners forums when we get a new make of car and in doing our research on different models of Skoda I consulted Briskoda fairly frequently, so it’s lovely to join you all.
