Featured Replies

I am trying to mount a camera both in front and back of the car.

Where can i find a earth point near the fuse box ?

Also any suggestings to find a earth point in the back of the car ?

If you take the side panel off to the right of the fuse box there is the main dash / car structure support. I believe there is a grounding spot in there.

Are you sure, it dont see like the right panel is easy to get off.

I have see some pictures from Rapid, here it seems like panel/fuse box i much longer, and earth is just right to the fuse box.

You could use the side panel but mine is earthed to that torx screw on the right.

I would like to install a 2nd 12v socket, on which fuse is it safe to piggiback so I can get at least 10 amps so I can safely charge my laptop (90w charger).

I have one of this.

Mbc, use the rear wiper, it’s a fuse all by itself and won’t cause a crisis if it blows.

Thank you Globalste,

In the future I would like to install another socket in the boot, that needs to be a separate circuit, not sure how to go about it. How are the cars that have them OEM fitted wired?
