Locked out!

Featured Replies

Hi guys got a problem that I hope someone could help me with, went to open the car today with the fob and it wouldn’t operate the locks to open the doors now I’ve had a flat battery last week as I stupidly left the lights on found out that the door lock was knackered so couldn’t use my key also the tailgate lock had some glue or something in it so I couldn’t use that either so had to jack up the car and open the bonnet as I couldn’t get in anyhow changed the battery after much hassle and everything was fine until today so to reiterate:-

car doors are locked

can’t use key as door/ tailgate locks knackered

managed to open bonnet as I’m an expert now changed battery but no joy

car locked

me confused

any help or ideas would be much appreciated!

thanks in anticipation

Order new lock mechanism from ebay first....

Does anything sound like its getting power when you use the fob?
