Replacement key

Featured Replies

Hi All.  We have a Mark II Octavia (2011) - We have lost one of the keys.  Has anyone had a new one cut/coded for a reasonable price lately (and that they would recommend!)

Based in Herts/Essex/North London.

In other news - the car passed its MOT today without issue - 7 years old and 127k miles - Very pleased with that -

I had a replacement key done by the company Timsons. They do shoe repairs and house key cutting...

They sent my car reg away and key cam back already cut from whoever they sent it to.

They then coded it with my key i had left and all was good.  £180 in total.

I got a local auto locksmith to do one for me he came out cut the key coded it for around £60, this was a few years ago and was not a remote key just a normal put in the door one.

Yea i wanted the full remote setup thats why mine was more in cost... :)
