VRS 2ltr cutting out on idle

Hi we have a Octavia vrs 2ltr chhb engine. Vehicle is cutting out intermittently on idle more so when warm.

The engine light is not on and there are no fault codes stored in ecu.

Has anyone had issues like this before?

Not sure but it is not stop/start, the vehicle is cutting out and needs restarting!

After its cuts out, if you depress the clutch does it restart automatically?

If the engine stalls (not from Auto StopStart) depressing the clutch should cause the engine to restart automatically.

 

Or do you have a message on the MaxiDot saying "restart manually" which would indicate the stop came from StopStart?
