Indicators work fine, but when I click the stalk back to engage main beam, it takes a second or two to come on and sometimes doesn't come on at all, or can take 5-10 seconds. It always disengages immediately.

 

Any ideas?

I should add, if I flick the stalk back and push it a tad further back and hold it there, they come on and stay on.

They have started to not come on at all when I just normally flick the stalk back, but when I pull the stalk back in as if to turn them off, they flash for a split second. The flash function with the stalk (holding the stalk towards you) always works.

Could be a failing stalk.

 

Probably worth using VCDS or similar to check it's working properly and check for fault codes.
