Hello, I've tried to enable HBA in the Vrs 245, using odbeleven.

 

All looks ok, icon on the dash when pushing stalk fwd. Except it doesn't work? 

 

Tried a reset and enable again, nowt, just stays on dipped beam all the time.

 

Anyone give me some pointers please.

So you get the icon of the headlight with the A in? It should work fine then. Note it doesn't kick in until a certain speed, have you actually been out at speed on a totally dark road to test?

I followed the guidance in this thread and it works well

ah, looks like the info I had missed this bit

 

Controller 4B - Multifunction Module
Coding (using experimental coding values)
-Byte 11, Bit 6 (High Beam Assistance,Enabled)
 

You may get an error pop up regarding Headlight Range Control. To clear this, go to Controller 4B, Basic Settings. 
-Basic Headlamp setting -> Go
-Acknowledge basic setting -> Go

 

Will try it again later.

 

Cornering fogs, traffic sign recognition, and hopefully HBA all sorted.

 

Just need to find the Audi throttle mod next

Throttle mod doesn't work on the 245. At least, I can't get it to work...

Yeh, HBA all works now.

 

Handy feature, but I'm not sure I'd pay the cost of adding it as an option though.
