I'm a big lad now and I go through tyres like they are going out of fashion so I'll make my own mind up with what brand to go for!!

I've just spent 1hr looking through various searches and have almost decided to go for some 225/45/17's, I would be grateful if anyone can confirm if these are likely to scrub when the car is fully loaded up (Through corners and or with luggage/passengers TBH)?

I know this is the Octavia section but you have a Fabia as your avatar so it's a little confusing.

They'll be fine on an Octavia but not right at all for a fabia.

Yeah I spotted that and thought I best change it accordingly.

I was going to chop my Cup in for a Fabia vRS a couple of years ago as I got myself 7 points and insurance was looking like it was gonna be stupid, avatar was chosen back then.

Rest assured I am deffo after information on the Octy vRS, as I will own one by Saturday.
