Brake caliper covers?

Recommended Posts

I think that's what I'm after, I'd like to have the brake calipers a nice shade of blue to match the car, I'm going to have to wait a few weeks more to get the wheels due to the arrival of some big legal costs, but this should be cheaper to do.

there is nothing OEM...as its paint

the nearest OEM gets are the clip on name plates which fit across the pad on the caliper "fingers"...eg R, GTI, S3 etc...

the clip on ebay special brembo covers....well if you like rice...:giggle:

seriously I don't know how secure they fit...

Not a difficult spray can DIY job. Just jack up the corner, wheel off. Remove the brake disk, hang the caliper from a bungie, mask the wheel well and suspension with newspaper. Make sure the caliper is clean and prepped.

Then spray away. A few coats and it will look reasonably good. Not show quality but compared to some crappy "ebay special" covers.
