Today I bought a 2011 2.0 TDi Scout in Maroon with a comprehensive history and recent cambelt and waterpump

143K on the clock so there are going to be things that need fixing/fettling so just need to resist the urge to map until I know its straight.

What things are most likely going to bite me in the 4ss and need looking at first.

Not 100% if its a PD  or CR?  the log book says CR but HPI is showing it as 155 g/km which I thought was the PD?

It's a CR. I got one of the last PD's in June 2010.

My co2 is 173g per kilometre.

Droplinks and coil springs tend to be my vehicles Achiles Heel.

Cambelt (and waterpump) is every 5 years with your vehicle, post September 2010.

Haldex oil is every 3 years or 37.5k - £69 at a dealers.

Batteries over 5 years old can cause problems with components that you wouldn't think it would, but does. Probably worth changing especially with winter here.

Check tailgate for corrosion at VRN lights.

Proteus alloys delaminate if you look at them the wrong way.

Probably worth getting a proper four wheel alignment done. I get one done when I swap over from summer to winter wheels and vice versa.

Probably worth checking the oil ash level in the DPF and if it's had the emissions fix, both are easy enough if you have VCDS or similar.

Any links to the oil ash and emissions fixes as I have vcds.

and haldex, and four wheel alignment were already on the list of things to check along with checking the battery and alternator when I get 5 mins.

not the best alloys they've ever used are they.  More like lexus alloys than VAG.

on the subject of alloys is the pcd on the mk2 5/112? I ran my mk1 on 15" Audi  Pepperpots

Emissions fix is shown by the ECU software version, if it's higher than about ~9970 then it's had the fix.

Oil ash is done by finding the right measuring block in the ECU. Assuming it's genuine and updated, you can probably use the search in advanced measuring blocks for ash, it should be in g or l depending on ECU.
