Hi everyone, I'm just saying hello. I'm retired and have had a Skoda felicia estate for some time now.

Welcome bentfinger to the Briskoda forums :) :)

Hope you are enjoying your retirement :)

Wahoo BF and Ricky.

Now I wish I had been somewhat, more imaginative.

I've owned lots of fast fancy motors, I didn't want that, a fun economical drive that doesn't keep needing repairing. Second to a Ford Fiesta on the top ten best buy list. My Ford Mondeo Ghia diesel needed endless repairs, then lastly new injectors. I was so shocked with the repair bill I sold it  and bought a little Fabia instead.

Even though, the Fiesta looked nicer.

I'm NOT quite ready to describe my first impressions. Briefly then, I'm torn between thinking it sounds like a motor bike and I've made a terrible mistake. I do wish my brakes didn't squeak, I'm still open minded though.

I asked the salesman to make sure the car had plenty of petrol. Oh yes, plenty!

Literally, a half mile into my 35 mile journey home, I noticed the flashing light, 20 miles remaining.

Hello again. I'm still a bit new.

And I'm rather curious why there aren't many Felicias left. And I know mine is now 18 years old. And I know the previous owner looked after it. It was actually owned by a self employed taxi driver, but it has done 300,000 miles.

Only just curious....... Bill

A warm welcome to the Forum !  That's some mileage.
