Hi all got a new superb this week and very pleased indeed I am with it.its a motability car and has a 1.5 petrol engine as I don't cover nearly enough miles to justify a diesel.my wife will be doing the driving taking me to hospital appointments etc,anyway enough of boring you,what I'm wanting to ask and I'm sure if I rang the dealers they could tell me at the cost of me looking like a fool.One,why does the Skoda se hatchback not have a rear view wiper? and Two,on the inside of the front windscreen on the drivers side there's a piece of plastic strip sticking out about halfway down the window about two inches long,does this serve a purpose??thanks

Don’t know about wiper but the plastic strip is for car park tickets.

Rear wiper is an option which is free but must be specified at time of order before the car is built.

 

Too late now, and I doubt it can be retrofitted.
