Hi all,

 

Can anyone shed some information regarding the interior light in my Rapid. Its standard with no bulbs changed before any questions of bulbs come up in advance. 

 

The issue is, when the switch is in the door position for open and closing, it stays on constantly with all doors shut. Doesnt dim, doesnt go off when the door is shut, only when the car is locked will it operate as it should, until you open the door and it then stays on all the while. 

 

But then you operate the switch to the constantly on position and it all goes off. When in the middle it also goes off as it should.

I found the markings on the lamp switch confusing. Had the same symptoms -then realised I had it in the wrong position. Doh!

Exactly this happened to me, thanks for pointing it out. I dont use the switch, so its always on the "o" setting.
