Hi Guys

I've a Mk2 Octy vRS which had the intermittent boot opening issue for ages - but always worked in 5 or so goes so never caused me that much bother.  Recently its stopped opening completley which is a right PITA with ferrying bikes and stuff around. I've done some digging around to order the part and I'm coming up with two similar looking bits with different part numbers. I wonder if anyone knows which I need?

Two P/Ns are: 1Z5827501E

 

And: 1Z5827501D

 

To fit an 07 Octy vRS estate.

 

If anyone has an idea it would be massivley appreciated.

Strangely, I have a problem with mine too and only this morning I have taken mine apart to find the pins that the electrical connector plugs into are all corroded. It's a sealed unit so therefore, whole new catch required. Part number is 1Z5827501D
