What is disturbed during rear wheel bearing change?

Featured Replies

I had the rear wheels bearings changed on the Octavia a coupl eof weeks ago, over the last couple of days I've noticed a squeek from the back which, sounds like a pad rubbing or something.

Before I call the garage to blame them for disturbing something, what is disturbed when you change a rear bearing? Could it be possible they've done something?

Anyone?

I've got a squeak goin on in the front of my car when I hit speed bumps..don't make much of it though, the car is 3 years old :) If the noise wasn't there before you had the bearings changed, you should have taken it back when you got it and told them about it.

Take it now dude. Maybe your pads are rubbing the disk or somethin.
