Hi all,

 

Looking for some advice and pictures if possible of a non-cRS motor that's been lowered. I've just ordered a 1.0 SE Tech Estate coming with 16" alloys on. I want to lower it and I've found two different Eibach kits. One that lowers 30/35mm and another that lowers 50mm.

 

I'm a bit worried the 50mm kit will be too low and will also affect camber and then potentially knacker my tyres prematurely but I can't seem to find any pictures of a lowered non-vRS car to help me gauge what will look okay.

A before and after photo on the day of the suspension change. It has settled further since then, as you can see in the other photo. Mine is an Elegance spec, running H&R 40mm lowering springs, and 17 inch wheels.

I got the springs from a popular online auction site, sent from Germany. Paid around £150 I think including postage. Fitting was done by myself at no cost, and a wheel alignment cost £40 after a week of settling.
