Hi all, I have just waved so long to my hyundai coupe 2.0 of 13 years to make way for a car "more suitable" for family life. So I find myself owning a 2015 rapid sport se. Just got back from the garage and I have to say its no slouch. Acceleration matching my coupe easily. Anyway, I have stuff I wanna do to it so will be on here frequently, picking brains. My main goal is interior illumination (not grown up)....

The 2017? onwards Rapids have factory footwell and door pocket lighting so parts are available.

No, it's a 15. I will just pick up 12v off the lights selector as I want them on constantly at night.

Better still, may get some usb ones and use a hub in the usb port for the stereo. Save faffing about behind the dash.

Bonjour à tous! I'm Xavier from Switzerland and a brand-new member of the Skoda world. A few days ago, I bought a beautiful 2012 Skoda Superb Mk2 Laurin & Klement 2.0 TDI 170 PS. The car is in remarkably good condition, both inside and out, and the engine runs great. Hello, Can anyone inform me what should be the correct Front Shock Absorbers to Maintain the spec of Rough road (2UB) on a Skoda Octavia Combi II (1Z5) ? Original Shocks Code: 1K0 412 021 KP I Believe current codes should be : 1K0 413 031 EJ or 1K0 413 031 BL (can anyone confirm ?) Im considering Bilstein but it's hard to find the correct part number for Rough Road. If anyone knows the part numbers of SACHS or KYB also please inform. Diameter of shocks housing = 50 mm Best Regards.

Hi! I'm in need of some help please. My Octavia estate sat for 8 months unused. The battery went flat (AGM Varta) and doesn't charge. I got the car started with a different battery and then swapped in the dead battery to see if it would start charging. BUT, now the engine was running I needed to move the car a bit and found that the gear stick won't go into reverse gear. It can select 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th but not reverse. I've ordered up a new AGM battery (due in a couple of days) but this reverse

Being a big Skoda fan, I joined Briskoda in 2008, I have always promoted Skodas as my companies first choice engineers car primarily the Superb Estate. And they have always been reliable and capable. Hello everyone I decided to update my 2014 Skoda Octavia to a newer age. First changed the MIB1 to MIB2, and then decided to add a rear view camera (there are other projects on the way like MFK1 to MFK2). I want to tell the story so someone else does not make the same mistakes I did.
