TheRoq has a guide for changing the rear indicator and reverse lights to LED.

 

However has anyone tried swapping out the interior front and back lights for LED bulbs? Which ones do you recommend? I think this only applies to people who didn't go for the interior LED package.

On the EU "Style" version, ALL light sources are LED - internt og externt.

There isn't a style version in the UK. On an SEL like mine, only the exterior lights are LED minus the reverse and rear indicators.

No current UK Karoq model has LED rear indicators or reverse lights. Only the brake, tail, fog and number plate lights are LED.

Agerbundsen is confusing you with incorrent info. Any of the Karoqs sold have a full LED rear lights. Reverse and rear indicators are always with conventional bulbs. He's probably a victim of Skoda's marketing when they say in cataloques Karoq has LED rear lamps, but do not specify this is excluding indicators and reverse lights. In Style edition (the highest spec) there is LED ambient lights at doors and on dashboard in front of a passenger. But it doesn't mean there's LED in the interior lights on the roof panel both front/rear. These are still with bulbs, but can be replased with white LEDs with correct fitting.

My car spec is Style. Except rear indicators and reverse lights, all lights are LED, including interiors.

 

 

Swordfish, do you have any experience on how to open up the interior lights (back and front in roof) to swap the bulbs?

Has anyone fitted footwell lights?.....I'm disappointed they are not standard on SEL

@SizzlingPotato Unfortunately I don't have any experience with this. Also I did not find any info in car user manual for this.

For anyone following this. You can now find the electrics manual in the Karoq manuals section. It has instructions for changing the bulbs.

I also have a EU Style version, and no LED in the interior! Strange.
